- What is a Hail Verification Report?
- This is an address-specific report that instantly shows you accurate hail sizes and the dates when hail occurred. In addition to the dates and hail sizes at the specific address, a Hail Verification Report provides hail information within one, three, and ten miles of the address.
- Can I find out when it hailed at a particular address?
- Yes, Hail Verification Reports are the perfect answer to finding out exactly when a hail event impacted a particular address.
- Will the report tell me what size hail fell at an address?
- Yes. Whenever hail greater than 0.75 inches falls within a 3-mile radius of the address, the report generates a date and hail sizes greater than 0.75 inches at the address and at one, three, and ten miles from that address. If "--" is listed at the address of interest, no hail greater than 0.75 inches was detected at the location; however, thunderstorms may have been present in the area capable of producing rain and/or small hail (less than 0.75 inches).
- How far back in time does your dataset go?
- Our hail data are archived back to January 1st, 2006. The reports will show all hail events impacting a specific address from 7am the morning prior to the order date and as far back as 2006.
- How fast will I get the report?
- Hail Verification Reports are nearly instant. Within minutes you will receive an email containing your report in PDF format and will be able to access the PDF from your Weather Fusion account.
- What is the cost of a Hail Verification Report?
- Reports are $39.95 per address and are ordered on an as-needed basis with no contracts required.
- How do I order a Hail Verification Report?
- After logging into your Weather Fusion account, hover your mouse over the Store tab near the top left of the page. Select Hail Verification Report from the list and click it. On the next page, enter the information requested into the popup box and click continue to complete your order.
